4/30 Look At Maturation And Motor Development.

4/30 If I could go back into time....year 2007 when I was 16, there are 10 things I wish I could tell myself, just to have the information, hopefully make going through some trials a little easier.

1. You are a massive perfectionist when it comes to cleaning and and the order in which things are displayed or organized. Don't worry about it. It is really a good thing. You can study much easier and be more efficient when you are in a clean environment. And that day when you are looking for the movie 10 Things I Hate About You, it will be so much easier for you to find it if you put your movies and keep them in alphabetical order.

2. When you start taking your Dual-Enrollment College Courses your Senior year of high school, make sure you double check your Social Security Number because when the counselor registers you to the program, she will enter your SSN wrong and it will be off one number. That will make your second semester at ISU a living hell. Also, if you ever have to speak to anyone in the registrar's office, do NOT speak with Gene Denning. He will be so unhelpful it will just bog down your second and third semesters.

3. You are going to ruin the best relationship with one of the most amazing person just to hide your secret. You will miss this person greatly and you will think about her every day. You two will attempt to bring things back to normal, but it doesn't work. You will occasionally see each other and when you do, you talk as if nothing has happened, but you know when you walk away, you won't see or talk to her for another few weeks or even a month. Treasure the time you have with her now. A better option, instead of shunning her so you can hide your Secret, include her. Tell her and she will be so understanding and she will support you.

4. People are  really not as trustworthy as you would like. Choose your friends
very carefully! You will make some friends that claim to be your friend, but
in the long run they will do more damage to your self-esteem than you can ever
imagine.

5.You will one day fit into a size 28/30 jean and wear extra small shirts. Instead of waiting to
get to that point, start your work now,
and you will be in shape in no time.

6. Believe it or not, Natalie will be your best friend and your biggest supporter. You and her will be so close, you will tell her everything and anything.

7. You are going to break down about your schooling multiple times, three times in the spring semester 2012, BUT you still want to be an Audiologist. Don't quit, continue studying, you'll get through it.

8. Coming out is the best thing you can do for yourself. Don't regret doing it. Yes, life seems like shit for a while, but it is so worth it. You will be able to define who your true friends are
and who all the fake people in your life are. Coming out is gonna give you the chance to  help make a change in the world. Be who you are, and be proud of who you are. Don't ever be afraid to stand up for yourself.

9. Don't stop taking piano lessons. You will regret this.

10. You are going to experience heartache like you wouldn't believe. Stay strong. Don't be afraid to lean on friends and family members for help.

advice to keep you on track:
smile every day
eat your fruits and veggies
laugh during the hard times
will and grace will be your favorite show
biking is great exercise
